Of the north ;)

Ceannabeinne Beach near Durness in the far north-west of Scotland. Almost no people on this beach - guess it's too far ;-) And don't be fooled - with temperatures around 12°C on this sunny June day, this is nothing like the Caribbean in reality.

Finally, I took the time to process a few more shots from Paris.

ISO 400 used despite the tripod - because I needed those shots fast - security was chasing me

I had to entirely replace the sky here (But I tried to make it look as much in the original shot as I could), because there was a huge red lens flare across the whole sky - The Sigma 12-24mm does not handle direct bright lights into the lens too well.

It looked to me as if the cloud was trapped inside that curved building, thus the title... I wonder for how long I'm still gonna find new stuff in my NYC archives... ;)

If anyone from NY could remind me where i could have photographed this exactly... I guess it was somewhere near the Apple Store, but i didn't have my gps tracker on

HDR composed out of 3 shots, all hand held at 1/15s. The different exposures were achieved by changing the ISO (720, 3200 and 12800) - auto iso does that by itself.

The colors on the ceiling and the pillars come from the colorful windows

This is the largest fig tree to grow in Europe.

Ficus macrophylla, commonly known as the Moreton Bay Fig, is a large evergreen banyan tree of the Moraceae family that is a native of most of the eastern coast of Australia, from the Atherton Tableland (17° S) in the north to the Illawarra (34° S) in New South Wales, and Lord Howe Island. Its common name is derived from Moreton Bay in Queensland, Australia. It is best known for its beautiful buttress roots, which are also known for damaging municipal footpaths.
