Shot from the bridge under the round tower on this photo (www.flickr.com/photos/dcdead/6641991393/in/photostream/). You can see the bridge from where the other photo was taken in this one (beside the heating plant).

By the way: The Ferrari boat is new. The one you can see in the old shot burned down, but the owner got a new one ;-)

Between the photo i posted the other day and this one, there was a short but hefty hail shower. After that the sky cleared up again and the sun came out.

Two horizontal shots (one for the lower part) and one for the upper (tilted the camera up) part. I had to stitch it manually, because none of my panorama programs could do it...

Tripod test: 45 second exposure with very strong wind after today's storm.

I was really lucky again - the blue sky came out for about 20 minutes - after that it began to hail...

I'm using the Haida 1000x ND filter. I had a B+W before, but it produced a strong red color cast and it cost 90€ with 77mm thread, compared to the 35€ i paid for the Haida, which produces far better colors.

+1EV exposure correction and i took the brightest (making it +3EV) of the bracketing sequence to achieve the high key effect.

BMW World in Munich. The security guy came by bike just a few seconds earlier and left it in this photogenic position.

The color comes from the setting sun behind my back.

BMW Welt (English - BMW World), is a multi-functional customer experience and exhibition facility of the BMW AG, located in Munich, Germany. In direct proximity to the BMW Headquarters and the Olympiapark, it is designed to present the current products of BMW, be a distribution center for BMW cars, and offer an event forum and a conference center.

Designed by architects Coop Himmelb(l)au for BMW Group, the facility was constructed from August 2003 through Summer 2007. Originally conceived to be open and ready for World Cup 2006, it eventually opened on October 17, 2007 and deliveries commenced on October 23, 2007. The first customer to take delivery of a new BMW at the Welt was Jonathan Spira.

Designed with an 800 kilowatt solar plant on its roof, "the building does not have the boredom of a hall, it is not only a temple, but also a market place and a communication center and meeting place for knowledge transfer", said architect Prix at the opening ceremony.

Technique/Processing

DRI made from 2 exposures - one for the sky, one for the building. Colors are not processed - the building changes it's colors every 15 seconds

Should really be viewed large on black - the small version here has many jagged edges, because of the resizing
