Really loved the different water colors around, not to mention the rainbow, created by the light of the slowly setting sun.

The Maid of the Mist is a boat tour of Niagara Falls. (The actual boats used are each named Maid of the Mist, followed by a different Roman numeral in each case.) The boat starts off at a calm part of the Niagara River, near the Rainbow Bridge, and takes its passengers past the American and Bridal Veil Falls, then into the dense mist of spray inside the curve of the Horseshoe Falls. The tour is available starting from either the Canadian or U.S. side of the river, returning to the starting point in each case.

All passengers receive a blue Maid of the Mist poncho.

Waaaaaay better on black

Taken in July - it was foggy for 3 days on the beaches of the Cape.

Almost SOOC - I only adjusted the levels a bit, as i forgot to dial in an exposure compensation - should be at +2/3 to +1EV when shooting in such foggy conditions to get real white and not only gray. I wasn't sure if i should brighten up the bottom of the photo too, but I decided that the gradient from pure white to a bright gray gives the photo more depth.

Oh and btw - i noticed this myself only after uploading it: This one is shot hand held (the purple one was shot from a tripod). Can't tell the difference between Iso 1600 and 160

They finally finished renovating the skyscraper (it's the same as here) and installed some lights on top which even change colors. I liked the purple most, so here it is - yesterday was really foggy and i was reminded of Gotham City ;)

No DRI or HDR, no cropping
