He was a surveror, planter, plantation manager, soldier, general and the only president elected unanimously.  He did much of this at great risk as there was no way of knowing he would beat the British or forage a new county. He did not live in the White House there wasnt one. There were 13 states when he was elected at age 57 and five more by the end of his second term.  He agreed to wear a life mask when posing for this statue which is in the state capitol of Virginia. His home state where he lived in Mt. Vernon, owned 33,000 acres, 100s of slaves and held court with world leaders overlooking his home on &lt;br /&gt;
the Potomac River. The first and always the best George W.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
