I chose my angle to emphasise the visual echo of the breakwater and the pier. I waited until a figure stepped on to the breakwater to provide a sense of scale. I waited until the moment the wave broke so that I could capture the movement in the water. <br /> <br /> But there was no way I could plan for the man's office clothes providing such a contrast with the seaside scene.
