Wonderful architecture inside NYC's Museum of Modern Art. At the bottom right corner, my wife takes a break during our long day @MOMA.
Again, the same Escherian-looking stairs beautifully contrasts with a Calder mobile sculpture, escorted by some human figure

The architecture @ MOMA in New York is almost as amazing as the museum itself.
It is so refreshing going to places like these, anywhere.

Flags and reflections on The Millenium Hilton, NYC, right in front of Ground Zero.
I can only suppose that, years ago, WTC would show up among the reflections.
It would be a much better picture...

Guggenheim Museum, New York, May 2007 (sorry, initially I assumed this was at MOMA)
A visitor gets a closer view at a giant "sculpture" composed of thousands of fresnel lenses, forming a virtual "wall" of lenses
From a large distance, the sculpture looks like a wall of water; see one of my previous pics, here: www.flickr.com/photos/83309429@N00/3679703520/
A closer view reveals other perspectives, since the whole environment can be viewed THROUGH each an every fresnel lens, or a colective view of many lenses, re-creating the world around you.

Another shot at MOMA, NYC.
Tried to make a harmonious composition using the beautiful elements present here.
Now I see there's something missing, which would be essential: a second human figure, climbing (or descending) the stairs.
Nude model Tiziana would be just perfect....

Times Square at night is absolutely astonishing for a newcomer.
It is impossible not to feel overwhelmed by the colorful, luminous landscape.
Regardless of your photo abilities, you'll always feel like you're producing just one more 'cliché' picture. Nevetheless, everybody tries... LOL
These are my efforts... using a very wide angle lens, of course:10mm on a digital camera, equivalent to 15mm on "old" film cameras.
Almost impossible to accomodate the whole light range here... some stuff just blow into whites, when you try to capture also the dimmer subject.
The traffic sign, yes, some people won't like it here, but I really tried very hard to use it as significant element in this pic. I should have positioned it more to the top, using the empty sky stretch amidst the buildings.
Maybe if one uses appropriate DR techniques, taking 3+ bracketed pix.
Any tips?

After 3 hs in NYC's MOMA - maybe the finest museum I've ever been - as I took some rest, these people unknowingly conjured to compose a very interesting picture.
What I like the most here, is the sense of movement...
...maybe some taste of Escher
...hope my friends appreciate this as much as I did, when I took it.

Broadway and Broome St, Soho, New York City.
The strikine red color of this building draws my attention, so I try to capture the contrast to the B&W checkered pattern on the street crossing.
I think I shoul have worked more on Photoshop, to render the asphalt(?) darker.
Any tips?

This was taken in Chelsea, NYC, just after lunch, on a lazy Sunday, May 13th 2007.
I just liked the graphic quality of the shapes and shadows, the contrast of the rusty metal on the asphalt.

Someone seems to be observing the solitaire man.
Sometimes I experiment with compositions using large plans, in a geometrical game.
