The police radio revealed to me why Ellen Yin and Batman were so busy at midnight. There was another murder last night.

A woman named Rachel Ferrier was stabbed to death in her townhouse in the suburbs last night. Her body was discovered by a housemate who came back from work late last night. Her mouth was also cut into a bloody smile and the name "Eugene" was written on the wall in her blood. There was no ring left behind at the scene, though, which makes me think that the ring may have been dropped by accident during the first murder. No belongings were taken from the house.

Clearly these two deaths are linked; same manner of death with each murder victim had the other's name scrawled in blood near where their bodies were found. Perhaps the two knew each other?

The police have interviewed the neighbors, and eyewitnesses reportedly saw a green hatchback car parked outside the driveway of Rachel Ferrier's house last night. The police are now combing the city for the vehicle.

Meanwhile, I must learn more about the victims. It is the only way I can find a motive and unmask the killer.

This picture is part of an ongoing story. It's supposed to be a modern adaptation of "A Study In Scarlet" with Batman, but the story is deviating wildly from the source. I lack any action figures of Ellen Yin, so I used a real person instead to act out the part (thanks Liew!).
