(I replaced this with a slightly different version from the one I originally posted, altering the crop to better suit my original intention. This sculpture is quite sensual, but I was fascinated by the texture of the stone and the gentleness of the hands.

Yes, I really wish I had a live model...the advantage with sculptures, though, is that they don't move and always give you a second (or third..) chance to get things right..)
