This is Rapper Immortal Technique, from uptown NYC aka Harlem. He is one of the most dedicated activist/conscious rappers out there and has been independent from the beginning. He puts his money where his mouth is and he is VERY political and speaks the truth behind the propaganda that the conventional media and government propagates.

His style is hard, fast and on point. Definitely one of my all time favorite rappers and activists. He newest release is called 'The Martyr' and is available for free, here:

This is Joanne Norton, a former undercover Cop who participated in over 400 drug arrests. She is now an activist for the reform/repeal of the "failed war on drugs" that she no longer believes in.

Having been a front-line law enforcement participant she has a unique perspective and spoke eloquently and at length regarding all of the issues around the need to change/decriminalize the use and possession of marijuana.

The organization she works with is called LEAP which is an acronym for "Law Enforcement Against Prohibition"

"Ganja Granny" Arlene Williams is 75 years old and a cancer survivor. She spoke at length about how she came to be an activist for medicinal use of marijuana. She was diagnosed with cancer, had wasted from 125 to 85 pounds and was not responding to any conventional forms of treatment.

Her situation had become dire and it was her doctor who actually recommended that she try marijuana. She didn't know anyone who smoked it, nor where to get it but as she said "I was that out of the loop that I figured if I went through my address book I couldn't find someone who could help". She began to make phone calls and eventually was able to find some and she claims that its helped her ever since.

She is now an activist/evangelist for the therapeutic use of the drug.
