Jake's still getting the hang of that idea. His second to last soccer game of the year and their first win.

Though he did have his moments with the ball, he spent the majority of the game with his hands in his pockets shivering in place. Not that I could blame him, I would've done the same but this was funny! I still can't stop laughing at it.

Two giant grass type plants out back, one changed last week and the other is still green. Odd because in the summer these guys are twins.

Took a visit to an old mansion in the heart of downtown South Bend today for a shoot with some friends. The whole house was pretty cool for the most part but extremely gutted.

While everyone was upstairs shooting each other and the fireplaces I ventured downstairs to find some oddities which included a private door leading to a potential slaughter room, a bathroom with dual toilets side by side and a walk in vault/panic room.

I've got a bad habit of taking pictures from my car, typically of cool sunsets so I had to switch it up a bit. Without a cloud in the sky the sun was projecting an awesome light to the other side (of the world) where the moon was rising from creating this awesome purple glow.

Got a surprise call from Sam today wanting to go out, ended up spending the night with him Ryan and Jess bowling and drinking dreamsicles at Chippewa Bowling Lanes.

If you like orange dreamsicle icecream, the drink is just as good.

1.5 oz whipped cream vodka
.5 oz sprite
1 oz orange juice

I think they can probably be made differently but this is what they did at Chippewa and it was awesome!

Tagged along with Tara and her friend Liz as she attempted to finish a school photography project.

From this adventure I discovered a jewel buried in the abandonment of South Bend. A place open to just about anyone with any idea or need for space. Held in an old manufacturing building it seems to possess a community of its own.

Snapped this picture of a very unique 'paint brushed looking' cloud today while out on my back balcony celebrating the fact that i'm once again employed.

I loved the way the clouds look like they could be drastic sunbeams out of a classic drawling. I love this picture!

Today was a fairly monumental day for me. Took my little brother, Cody, to the local skate park to learn to ride the ramps. He's now able to ride down, not up, all the ramps under 4ft tall!

Me and jake were battling today, my weapon of choice was the camera flash, it seemed to be his kryptonite.

I really enjoy texture overlaying and took my first stab at it with this. Texture was just some cracked sidewalk out front.

This is a wild picture done by an artist by the name of James Barsness. I found a copy of the image laying around the house and have grown fond of.

..but then again, it kinda just scares me. I recommend blowing this guy up nice and big - there's plenty to see!

Took this picture of tara before heading out to the bars. We were picking up McDonalds for a sick Ryan back at the house.
