She shows a lot of interest to hunt but without any result to show for it. On the other hand the garden is hers without a doubt. No cat in the neighborhood is aloud to enter her domain with out a serious confrontation.

Taken in front of a former Power Plant in Elliðaárdalur in Reykjavik, named Toppstodin. It was built in 1948 as a part of The Marshall Plan. The station was used to boost or top energy supply when the local energy system was not sufficient. Hence the name.

This abandoned summerhouse is in Straumsvik on the outskirts of the Reykjavik, capital area, by a large aluminum plant. I'm hoping this will be restored some day.

Black-headed Gull (In Latin - Chroicocephalus ridibundus and Icelandic - Hettumávur). Taken by The Pond in Reykjavik.
I think my Sigma 17-70 isn't the best to capture birds and now I really like to buy a long and fast Auto-Focus lens which is probably ridiculously expensive.

I see these two buildings nearly every day on my way home from work and never really thought I could get them together in the same frame.

Yfirgefið = Abandoned.
I'm not used to process pictures like this but in this case I found it quite fitting. This abandoned farm is just outside of Reykjavik near Route one on the way to south of Iceland.
