Full pano shot of my morning at Jenny Lake a few weeks back. I have spent a lot of time the last two weeks exploring the shoreline of this wonderful lake, and have found a particularly favorite spot that I'll be showing a lot of in the weeks to come.

Need to invest in a better tripod if I'm going to keep making panoramics!

A wonderful hike from String Lake trailhead to Hidden Falls, with wisps of clouds meandering about the Tetons. The snow dusted the tops of the peaks while the Fall colors continued to grace the valleys below.

Quick 1st edit from my adventure this morning.

Decided on another trip to the String Lake area for this morning's sunrise. After catching an unusual alpenglow I took the East Shore Trail towards Jenny Lake to scout some new locations... and found several. There are some amazing photo ops along this tiny stretch of trail, ending with a fantastic view of the range and Jenny Lake. There is an Osprey nest in this shot as well. When I reached Jenny Lake the Osprey flew right over my head. She knew I was setup for landscapes and was teasing me. It's ok though, I'll be back very soon!

Wilson's Canyon Sunrise

The trail behind my apartment winds around the hillside and into Wilson's Canyon, which eventually connects to both the Game Creek and Snow King trails. It's the ultimate Loki trail.

Mud Volcano

Boiling mud laps against the deeply cracked surface of the volcano in Yellowstone National Park, WY.

My parents came up for a visit last week. My Mom's NEVER been to Yellowstone, despite living in Wyoming for the last 30ish years, so we spent a whole day exploring all we could. We got through the Southern half of the park and saw just about everything there. We had a really good time and I look forward to their next visit when we'll explore the Northern half.

While I was shooting String lake, this cloud sat perfectly over Mt. Moran. The view from Oxbow must have been unreal. C'est la vie!

Off I-80 and Herrick Ln., the remains of a gas station silhouetted against the sunrise.

I'm starting a new project about different roads in Wyoming as I have travelled them. I've done A LOT of driving this summer and have a ton of shots taken "right off the road." Wyoming is full of those kinds of photo ops. Compiling those shots into one theme about the roads makes sense to me.
