The idea behind this treatment was to put the emphasis on anyrhing vapory as this is what struck me the most in that place on that particular day. The details on the pier (for which I've already dedicated a photo) and trees just weren't important to me here and didn't want them to be a distraction from the mood generated by this beautiful foggy day... Hope you'll enjoy it.

Thank you very much to those who commented on my last image for your understanding. As I said, it is not my intention to quit flickr, nor do I intend to quit photography (for those who might have doubts about this). The latter is "the one" addiction I will never try to fight... never... Quite the contrary, I will try to find more time to practice this very dear passion of mine, instead of spending all my time in front of the computer. Once again, this is not to say I will not comment on your photos anymore. I will continue to support your work, but only in a more controlled way. Those of you who know me a little and have already read my profile know that I only practice photography in order to express myself, as it has a very therapeutic effect on me. This is really the only reason why I do it. I am not trying to make a difference in this field, nor do I try to become popular through it. I only forgot that for a while...

Take care everyone and be assured that I'll keep in touch with you guys... ;-)

Well, while I'm in the stairs thing, here's a more minimalistic approach...

I'm leaving tomorrow for a photo trip to the beautiful regions of Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean and Charlevoix, Quebec, for a few days with a very good buddy of mine (and excellent photographer). I'll do my best to catch up on your work as soon as I'll be back.
