Got a chance to see...and smell...the Amorphophallus Konjac, other wise known as a "Voodoo Lilly," today outside the Zoo's Aviary. An interesting treat...well...experience, anyway.

I was happy to see Kendall on exhibit last week. He seemed to be enjoying himselft and as usual he was cooperative and sat for me for a while so I could get some good pictures of him.

Since we are putting in so many berry/fruit bushes/vines/trees, we felt that we should employ some worker bees to help polinate our fruits and flowers. Our starter box is in place, and we are expecting our 3lbs of bees to arrive the second weekend in May! I am sure this will be an interesting experience.

This little one is going to live with my sister-in-law. He has just had a check-up at the vet’s office and is as healthy as can be. After his vet visit, he spent the entire evening exploring the house and meeting his housemates for the week. Now, we just need to get him a name. Any suggestions?

These four adorable little ones have now found a good home. They are just over a month old, are eating solid food, are in the process of being litter box trained, and have lots energy.
