This lady took a walk around the empty Carnival standing at each ride pondering. I've stood close to her observing facial expression. She stares endlessly at the rides and after several minutes she would lower her head and walk to the next one. She must have been reminiscing the good times she had with her family and loved ones.

I do not have a phobia of clowns, dolls or puppets but I'm sure there's people who have.

Having some of the creepiest puppets and dolls together is pretty unusual especially in a public wall display.

First time visiting Pike Place Market. The lineup was out the door and 3 stores down!

We didn't have the patience of getting into the crowded coffee shop but I did manage to snap this shot of the banjo(?) player. Apparently he is icon for playing his instrument in front of the very first Starbucks in the world!

Great to be back and shooting some street photography!

Saw this pair of Converse in the trash can outside a shoe store on my recent visit to Victoria. The shoes had holes, stains and rips. These shoes must have accompanied the owner through some good and also bad times.

We all learn and grow through experience and hardship but we should never forget what it taught us.

I wonder what new shoes the owner got this time around...

Starting today, it is my turn to leave my pair of Converse behind and have a pair of Leather Shoes. These shoes will walk me through my professional designation. It is another phase in life.

How can you tell someone is Happy? The woman's smile is so natural and genuine. You can tell she is in love.

Currently I am in love with road bikes and would love to get my hands on a nice commuter/road bike.

Morning coffee

Early morning stroll in Victoria's Chinatown and we walked into Starbucks for a quick iced drink.

I looked over the bar and saw this gentleman drinking his coffee. Sadly I couldn't recover the Chinese words on the left side of this picture without disgusting noise. The wall had the words "Peace and Silence" in Chinese characters.

First we had snakes on a plane. Now we have goats on the roof. I thought I've seen it all!

We visited Coombs BC on the Island this past week and enjoy this small town fair. Their main attraction are the goats grazing on the rooftop.

Beautiful trip.
