after a 5.5 mag earthquake rolls through North America

be sure to turn up the sound before hitting play

this abstract moving picture (mopic)
is comprised solely of recycled and forgotten
timelapsed still image tests.

no video.
just a 20D and
candles, vases, lamps and a sequence through a keyhole

married to a 20 year old sound design collection
including numerous clips rearranged from recordings off the radio.
between 1983 and 2001.

lately i've been waking much earlier and taking the dog for a walk down by the waterfront before sunrise. it's quite invigorating walking in early morning light... for which i usually drag a camera along for.

this here is the direct result of trying to get a gorgious morning sunrise while the dog, on leash, bolts after a squirrel just as i hit *snap*

this is my desktop for today
every wednesday, a new snapshot of wierdness

i might revisit to alter the sodium balanced light - that sign is actually blue.
(change that, the sign is actually green! - went back during the day to scout it out more)

but i like it as is too.
