Part Finale: Then she showed me her find, a wonderful toy that I knew would delight her for many months. And such perfect condition. She was so happy about it.

This simplicity of this event, over in seconds really, taught me a lot. Especially that judgement is not a good thing. And that treasures can emerge from places we might be tempted to pass by. And that there is a purpose or reason to everything. I still remember her and her smile.

Better Large

Part 3: In amongst all this and only a few yards from the foreshore (see previous photos), I found a girl and her brother, trawling through the litter. She looks incredibly happy, if not a little embarrassed.

Woman selling garlic. She is peeling the cloves to sell them pre-peeled. Wonderful.

This is the New Market in Siem Reap. Only locals go there. The Old Market became over run by tourists and tourist shops that the locals built a new market outside of town and shifted their shopping there.

This is a reworking of this photo. I am currently processing my Cambodian photos and will rework several that have been posted already.
