Happy New Year

Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, a merely we will go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.
No need for tears, there's nothing to fear, for a New Year is here!

Year's end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instil in us.

We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day.

For last year's words belong to last year's language
And next year's words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning.

Cheers to a New Year and another chance for us to get it right.

Life is so simple, not sure why people choose to make it complicated. Just breathe and let things go...its all about finding out center in it all. Breathe in and exhale...its that's simple and let it go, just like a balloon, everyday we should let go of things (fear, frustration, anger, jealousy, sadness, resentment etc I can go on, its like peeling an onion layer by layer...ahhhhhh it feels so great to release it all) all to free our souls into the now, to stop our minds from overdrive in order to forget about the rest... to quiet our minds from all its noise to find balance in the now.

Embraced by nature

No individual exists in their own nature, independent of all factors of life. Each has the totality of the Universe at its base. All individuals have, therefore, the whole Universe as their common ground, and this universality becomes conscious in the experience of enlightenment, in which the individual awakens into their own true all-embracing nature.

Kayaking is how I connect with nature which thus allows my spirit to reconnect with the rest of the world, with a sense of peace, serenity and purpose. Nature is my source which guides my soul.

I have been kayaking on Lake of two mountains for over 20 years and each time its a new experience, a new discovery, an new insight... mainly about life's revelations from a new perspective.

Life is like a stream.
Life is like a stream, we must learn to just flow with it...and let the
currents guide us. Ones path is not always so straight,
it has many turns and curves along the way.
Faith...is the belief of things hoped for but not seen.
...It's not so much the path that counts...it's the journey of self
discovery. Hope is what keeps us moving forward through the
currents of the ride of life. Resistance will keep you stuck, True
forgiveness is like a huge release of a heavy weight, and key to
getting in line with your true flow in life.

Winter Wonderland... It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Enjoy the magic and the wonder of the season. Took this photo in St-Anne's this morning after a Christmas photo shoot at the Veterans Hospital... it was most touching to share a Christmas moment with these brave men.

No special filters, shot as seen, it had snowed on the trees that morning which made everything look magical....

Kayaking on thin ice....

I just had to go one more time.... I can't bare the thought of not being able to kayak during the winter months ahead, I will miss it so much....
My kayak was frozen, filled with ice and snow, the thin ice crackled as I glide upon it...what a rush and feeling it was. I wanted to stay there all day, ...but came back because my fingers and toes where staring to freeze, bummer... but i'll keep this awesome gliding flowing feeling with me for a few days im sure...
Its just what I needed as the next few days will be crazy busy preparing for the Photo Art Exposition Fundraiser Event

A sneak peak at one of the many photo art creations that will be at the upcoming
Photo Exposition Fundraiser Event for the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence..
November 30th ~ Harwood Galerie ~ Vaudreuil, Hudson

All my photos have a story and an inspirational quote usually written by me. For this one I could not have written a better quote. I titled this one, Who'll be my love , which was inspired by a Cat Stevens song, ruby my love, that was playing while working on the exposition. I thought the words went very well with the story of this photo capture.

Hand stained photo art frames and photo laminations, in various sizes will be part of the photo exposition fundraiser as well as many other photo creations.

The first snow is always so exciting, yet fragile.
It is so delicate and pure. It always melts before it stays
for good for the winter.

I saw this old barn just hanging in there, still standing after all these
years. There is strength beneath a delicate facade.

Turning over a new leaf…
There are changes in the air.
Where one season ends, a new one begins.
Such as life, where one door closes an other one opens.
To see the true colours of the present moment,
you can't look back, only forward at what is here now
to appreciate it in its real beauty.
Like forgiveness, it feels freeing to move forward.
