Copehagen, 26Aug05, riding ye olde Salsa. The basket on the back was filled with at least thirty bottles of strong Danish beer; I'm not sure how I feel about the coat-plus-bungee lading method. Also, wow, my hair was really brown back then.

Kayla forgot/misplaced/lost her ATC and was using my Reverso, and, despite having my hand-me-down Grigri, neither of us wanted to rap on it (One can, can't one? I should do some reading.). Also, hadn't thought about it until we tried it, but wiregates suuuuck for this. Glad I had some ovals and Ds.

Kayla led the right-hand one, and I led the left-hand one. The one Kayla led was graded lower, but felt a lot harder. The jams were weird, pro was scarce (instead of "gear to 2in" it should have said "all gear at least 2in"), and feet were tricky. Mine was a grade or two up and just cruised; solid jams, lots of feet, great pro, and two good rests. Still getting the hang of Tieton grading...

We kept more skin on than last time. That said, under my skin are a whole lot of really interesting bruises. Nice.

Some folks don't like stacked rocks. I love them. I wish I could do it, but I have no talent for it whatsoever. This one was quite large (the big vertical had to have weighed a hundred pounds or more) and amazingly complex.
