This belongs to a project which explores the relationship between a body and the person. The black necklace is a Tibetan rosary, each pearl corresponds to a mantra which has to be recited outloud while meditating.

Lately I have had no time for photography, which is breaking my heart. I'm graduating from University and working at the same time, but everything should be over by March. Then I'll become one with my camera. Can't wait! In the meantime this is a simple portrait taken with my new lens (35 mm 1.8). Behind Giusi there were activists complaining for the shutting down of cultural spaces in Bologna.

Back to film. I've been shooting in film lately, it is quite amazing. The feeling you get. I'll keep both my cameras at hand, keep experimenting. The film I used for this pic was expired, but you can see many more photos on my Facebook. Go check them out! :)

It's been snowy, it was totally unexpected so this is just a picture I took of my sister, I wish it lasted longer, but it was only for a day, and this is all I could do.

After years and years, I decided to have my hair cut. Might sound silly to many, to me it meant change. Becoming new. That one you see up here does not exist anymore. Barthes says photography is like a performance of death. A gentle death of memories.

Third dress form "Her mother's clothes", still one to go and then I'll move on! Tonight I'll start a photography course on selfportraits (since I hate so much being in front of the camera).
