In the now obsolete livery of Mainline, 09019 sits at Nemesis Rail in Burton with a rake of Pullman mk2 coaches which look very impressive!

Running about 127 minutes early, 97302 leads 97304 into Colwyn Bay working the 3S71 Crewe - Crewe via Holyhead RHTT working. A rather cheeky hippo got in the way in a few of my early shots, but here, looks really good.

After finally getting the timings right, I managed to get out to see my local RHTT... well, only just. Working 127 minutes early, 97302 leads 97304 into Colwyn Bay working the 3S71 Crewe - Crewe sandite. Was quite annoyed that a local passenger train got in the way...

Arriva 57315 speeds through Colwyn Bay running approx. 22 minutes late with the 1W91 Cardiff Central - Holyhead WAG loco hauled service.

The shunt driver starts 57304 GEOFF TRACEY on the head shunt at Crewe station with a lovely bit of clag coming out. The loco later ran around onto platform 11 where pendo and 57 coupled up for the 1D83 to Holyhead.

After some discussion that voyagers would replace the pendo drag working when the new timetables came in, I was really suprised to hear that the pendo was on.

57308 leads 390050 'Virgin Invader' through a snowy and beautiful Mochdre working the 1A55 HOLYHEAD - LONDON EUSTON pendo drag. The lighting wasnt really that good but with an ISO of 800 and an AV as low as poss plus some photoshopping, I have achieved what I call a good photo for the lighting.

Today's unusual working was done by 37423 'Spirit of the Lakes' and 57010. They are seen passing the footbridge just outside Mochdre (near Slaters Vauxhall garage) with the 6K41 VALLEY - CREWE flask train.

I do belive that this is the first time a 37 + 57 combo has occured? Anyway, it was rather hellfire :)
