Stanthorpe is a Large and prosperous township on the New England Highway near the NSW border.
Stanthorpe is a remarkably attractive town set in the middle of a rich, mixed farming area where rural activities range from vineyards, wineries and orchards to sheep and cattle grazing.

Next Full Moon & Night-Time Photography Workshop is on Thursday 29th of November at the Redcliffe Jetty, Redcliffe, 6.30pm to 9.00pm.

The Redcliffe Peninsular is about 28 kilometers North-East of Brisbane, and is part of the Moreton Regional Council. The city's name originates from "Red Cliff Point" named by the explorer John Oxley. Redcliffe became Queensland's first colony in 1824, however it was soon abandoned for Brisbane.

The township of Ravenswood is about 130 kilometres south-west of Townsville, this old gold mining settlement, tucked away amongst the rolling hills, is a living tribute to the history and heritage of western Queensland. Mullock heaps, tall chimneys, poppet heads and discarded mine machinery pepper the countryside, reminiscent of the town's century-old glory. There are beautifully restored hotels and public buildings which gives you a glimpse of what the town was once like. Take the time to stop and explore because there's more to this historic town of Ravenswood than you would expect.

located near Stanthorpe in South East Queensland’s premium wine grape growing region of the Granite Belt. Rumbalara is in my opinion one of the best wineries in this area, making it an esential stop on your tour of the area. Thier cellar door is located about 1 kilometre off the New England Highway and offers wine tastings and a selection of African Giftware in a relaxed rural setting.
