&lt;p&gt;This is a close up of Child's Glacier near Cordova Alaska. It was a spectacular place to see. You could hear pieces of ice cracking and giving way from the glacier from a mile away. When a piece would break off it would sound like thunder.. one of the most spectacular scenes I have ever witnessed.. ;-)&lt;br /&gt;

Sorry for the not so sharp image.. I did not have my mono pod with me and I was fighting rainy conditions when I captured this scene.. had to keep covering my camera after every shot.. ;-)&lt;/p&gt;</description>
