The entrance to the golden Trump Tower in NYC. It is a cool place to go and grab a drink next to the interesting water feature which spans the whole of the lobby. If you find yourself in NYC I suggest that you take a trip here you will not be disappointed.

Easter Plaza...

Taken in Easter 2012 when most of the tourist were not around. I was even able to use my tripod for a few minuets before I got told that I was not allowed to use it.

These are the lights in Grand Central Station by one of the exits. I liked how they were glowing even tho it was the middle of the day.

This is why I love HDR as it really makes images like this one pop without much effort. The blue lights around the sign really have popped when this was converted into a HDR. This is one of the best situations for this type of photography.

City Heights...

This is taken from on top of Top Of The Rock. The cityscape looks really nice with all of the twinkling lights from the buildings. We were also really lucky as the lights on the top of the Empire state Building were lit up a different color that evening.

This is the Flatiron taken from on top of the Empire State Building. I like the way how in this the road leads your eye all the way to the arch in the distance. I have taken a while to process this image as i didn't know how to go about doing it at first as i found the light too harsh when it was taken.

The Brooklyn Bridge on a nice hot summers day with a clear sky and some nice clouds makes for the shot above. this was taken in the middle of the day when its not the greatest time to shoot but i think i pulled it off anyhow. I just love this bridge.

The Sphere...

Located in Battery Park in New York City is the Sphere. It is a surviving sculpture that once stood in the middle of Austin J. Tobin Plaza, the area between the World Trade Center towers in Manhattan.

I used a tight crop to make the structure more prominent in the frame and i think it has worked out well.

This is the inside of St Patricks Cathedral in NYC. I took two frames and merged them together to create this I found the effect that it created to be very interesting with the lines of the pillers looking like they are bent. This was taken handheld as well due to tripods not being allowed into the cathedral.

I took this shot in Central Park under one of the Bridges there. i had to wait a while for all of the people to get out of the way. I also had to wait for the guy to be in a good position to capture him.

In New York I always wanted to take this shot so when we went this year this was one of the first shots that i grabbed.

It did take me quite a while to get the light trails the way that i wanted but i did get them and i think that this shot shows that off well.

This was taken whilst me and my wife were taking a late night walk in Madison Square Park. My wife was taking pictures of the flowers and i wanted to get a picture of this building. I like the way how the tree frames it in the frame.

This is another shot of the FlatIron I took this in the evening after we had walked around the nearby park. I wanted to get the Taxis moving across the picture so i took a wile getting this shot and i think it paid off.

I took this shot at the New York International Centre Of Photography on 43 street. It is an open area with loads of trees lined up against the wall. I thought that as I was here I should capture the display.

This is the Reading room in the New York Public Library you might recognise it from Ghostbusters. I took another shot of this and i wanted to go back so i could get a better picture of the ceiling.

The detail in the ceiling is amazing and i am really glad that i came back to get the longer shot of it.

The Rock...

This is the Rockefeller center taken from inside Rockefeller plaza. They would not let me use my tripod so I have to use the mini tabletop tripod to take the shot. This is three exposes and then photomatrix and photoshop were used to do the post processing.

The longest exposure was 1.5 seconds and the tripod did move a little so some of the lights from the inside of the Rockefeller center are blurred. I also have a day shot of this from the same location which is will put online at some point.
