Sure, it LOOKS simple, and for someone better at using Photoshop it probably should be.

I learned a LOT about CS3 while, at the request of his mother, I was figuring out how to put this together. Smart objects, layers, drop shadows, blending modes, bevels, sizing, transforming, creating a signature brush....UHG! But I was grateful to have a reason to dig in and learn all this and I will be faster next time! :)

Oh, and the photo in the bottom right corner is a composite of two photos. One with baby and his sister in pink, the other with baby and his sister in lavender.

My brother-in-law and his new son.

After playing with a full color and a black and white version, I ended up liking this high contrast, low key version best. It makes me think of all the times my husband got up in the night to take care of the baby so I could sleep. Men, in case you don't know, your lady loves it when you do that! :)
