Whitstable beach on the North Kent coastline. A long exposure taken at 3.28am a 193 sec exposure at f/9 at 100 iso! A re-vamped image!

How about this for something different! taken on the same morning as the previous postings, we were on the way home Jan (jankmarshall) and I from Dungeness and we stopped in a side road to take the foggy landscape and as the fog lifted those Electric pylons started to appear, like some grotesque monsters!

I thought this would make a great Halloween image!!!!

This was scanned in from a b/w neg and that person is Louize walking along at around 9pm one winters night in the fog and those street lamps look like spot lights from some alien ships or some ghostly specters ideal for Halloween!!!!! This is not to say that Louize is scary!

This was SOOC from the camera I used the Kelvin scale at 2500k to shift the reds over to the blues to get this eerie atmosphere with the fog, taken this morning, Love the outcome!!

This is Laysdown-on-sea on the isle of Sheppey kent! Went with Jan (jankmarshall) also on flickr, we left at 3.30am and got there just before sunrise! Just enough time for a long exposure to get the movement! Taken with a linear polarizer.

This is what I was all about 20 years ago, a classic b/w subject with a red filter and using print film and spending hours in the darkroom, but now there is really no need for any of that with the coming of the digital age so this was all converted in PS from the colour version just shows how advanced photography has now become, Everybody can do it!
