Autumn climbing

Mitchell Jagd leads the route "Stopper", 6, at the Fjällbo cliffs just outside of Gothenburg, Sweden, on a wonderful autumn day. The routes on these perfect granite cliffs are protected "naturally" which means that there are no fixed bolts in the rock, but the climber places different kinds of protection in the holes and cracks in the rock as he moves up the route.

Taken in the night from the Couvercle hut in the Mt. Blanc massif. The light on the glacier is from climbers making the approach on the towards the huge mountain face of Grandes Jorasses.

Jet fighter aircrafts and alpinism

We got a very different mountain experience last week when climbing around the famous mountain Aig. du Midi. 8 jet fighter aircrafts from the French Air Force's air show flight demonstration team “The Patrouille Acrobatique de France" suddenly showed up and showed their skills in formation flying very close to the mountain tops. Chamonix, France.
