My Orchid came into bloom again earlier in the year so I thought I'd have a go at photographing it. I like the effect of using the older lens wide open.

I was lucky enough to get a preview ticket for The View from The Shard.

It was very cloudy so couldn't get any decent shots of the view but I liked this photo of a lady silhouetted.

I spent a night in Naples at the end of my summer holiday this year. I couldn't believe how much graffiti there was around the historic district. It made it a really interesting place to photograph.

Gold medal triathlon winner Alistair Brownlee on his final lap in Hyde Park.

Thanks for the comments and favourites helping this to make explore. I was lucky enough to have a spot at the Serpentine Cafe so had a good vantage point for the athletes coming past. Massive respect to the Brownlee brothers, they're incredible athletes.

I went to Whitstable for the weekend. The Saturday was a wash out but the Sunday turned out lovely and there were loads of sailing boats out in the bay.

This is another shot from the set I did of Zillah.

Despite the distractions of rabbits and a white camera umbrella just out of the shot she was very well behaved and sat still.

I wasn't that keen on the shot in colour but when I used the Creamtone preset in Adobe Lightroom I thought it really improved the image.
