THIRTY SECONDS!!!

The Landing Craft Assault (LCA) was a landing craft used extensively in World War II. Its primary purpose was to ferry troops from transport ships to attack enemy-held shores. The craft derived from a prototype designed by John I. Thornycroft Ltd. of Woolston, Hampshire, UK. During the war it was manufactured throughout the United Kingdom in places as various as small boatyards and furniture manufacturers. The design was also produced in Commonwealth boatyards in the Far East.

Typically constructed of hardwood planking and selectively clad with armour plate, this shallow-draft, barge-like boat with a crew of four, could ferry an infantry platoon of 31, with space to spare for five additional specialist troops, to shore at 7 knots (13 km/h). Men generally entered the boat by walking over a gangplank from the boat deck of a troop transport as the LCA hung from its davits. When loaded, the LCA was lowered into the water. Soldiers exited by the boat's bow ramp.

My second naval AFV. :) I'm very proud of it, the only thing I didn't make accurately was the propeller guard (didn't have enough 3mm rigid hose). I especially like the port of registration "Halifax" on the back. Heavily inspired by both Rumrunner's (Ross's) LCA and Transparency's (Ben's) LCA. I really wanted to get propellers on this one as they are my favorite part of any ship. I didn't have enough sand blue to make it camo so I made it all white. Enjoy!
Features opening front doors and folding ramp, spinning propellers, room for 12 soldiers with backpacks and one driver skipper.

The Martin B-26 Marauder was a World War II twin-engine medium bomber built by the Glenn L. Martin Company. First used in the Pacific Theater in early 1942, it was also used in the Mediterranean Theater and in Western Europe.

After entering service with the U.S. Army, the aircraft received the reputation of a "Widowmaker" due to the early models' high rate of accidents during takeoff and landings. The Marauder had to be flown by exact airspeeds, particularly on final approach and when one engine was out. The 150 mph (241 km/h) speed on short final was intimidating to pilots who were used to much slower speeds, and whenever they slowed down below what the manual stated, the aircraft would stall and crash

The B-26 became a safer aircraft once crews were re-trained and after aerodynamics modifications (increase of wing span and incidence, to give better take off performance, and a larger fin and rudder).[4] After aerodynamic and design changes, the aircraft distinguished itself as "the chief bombardment weapon on the Western Front" according to a United States Army Air Forces dispatch from 1946.[citation needed] The Marauder ended World War II with the lowest loss rate of any USAAF bomber.

A total of 5,288 were produced between February 1941 and March 1945; 522 of these were flown by the Royal Air Force and the South African Air Force. By the time the United States Air Force was created as an independent service separate from the Army in 1947, all Martin B-26s had been retired from US service. The Douglas A-26 Invader then assumed the B-26 designation.

I had always wanted to make a large bomber for awhile, and this fits the bill. It actually drops bombs: You load them into the hatch past the cockpit and then pull the bar near the bottom of the plane (noted. The bombs then drop out of the bottom of the fuselage. Also features a two minifigure cockpit, retractable landing gear, and more.

During WWII, besides the Opel Blitz, Germany used the Bussing-Nag Civilian cargo trcuks to transport small tanks and vehicles (I.e. Kubelwagen). Here is the tank transporter version, transporting a captured Ft.17 Tankette.

Around twenty M3A1's were converted to "Satan" Flamethrower tanks in 1943 for the USMC, for use against Japanese bunkers, by replacing the M6 37mm gun with a Canadian Ronson flamethrower. Often seen with the optional auxilliary fuel tanks.

This started as an M5, then got changed to an M3 with Quadruple Maxim mount, but because I had no more brownings (all are in use) I decided to make the M3 Crocodile.

The Chance Vought F4U Corsair was a carrier-capable fighter aircraft that saw service primarily in World War II and the Korean War. Demand for the aircraft soon overwhelmed Vought's manufacturing capability, resulting in production by Goodyear and Brewster: Goodyear-built Corsairs were designated FG and Brewster-built aircraft F3A. From the first prototype delivery to the U.S. Navy in 1940, to final delivery in 1953 to the French, 12,571 F4U Corsairs were manufactured by Vought, in 16 separate models, in the longest production run of any piston-engined fighter in U.S. history (1942–1953).

The Corsair served in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marines, Fleet Air Arm and the Royal New Zealand Air Force, as well as the French Navy Aéronavale and other, smaller, air forces until the 1960s. It quickly became the most capable carrier-based fighter-bomber of World War II. Some Japanese pilots regarded it as the most formidable American fighter of World War II, and the U.S. Navy counted an 11:1 kill ratio with the F4U Corsair. As well as being an outstanding fighter, the Corsair proved to be an excellent fighter-bomber, serving almost exclusively in the latter role throughout the Korean War and during the French colonial wars in Indochina and Algeria.

Yes, the cockpit is too big but dang, I love this airplane. :D Built this after I discovered my large, untouched stash of blue parts. Came out pretty good actually. No landing gear yet, still need to figure out how to attach it.

The SdKfz 234 (Sonderkraftfahrzeug 234, or special purpose vehicle 234) was an eight-wheeled armoured car used by the German Army in the Second World War. It broadly resembles the SdKfz 231 (8 rad). It had the turret of a VK1600 series Leopard tank and had a relatively fast cruising speed of 53MPH.

First invented during WWI, the Renault FT17 was the first tank to become a model for all others: The driver sat in the front of the hull, the commander set in the middle, and the engine was located in the back. The FT17 also was to the first tank to enjoy a 360-degree rotating turret and was the most mass produced tank of the time.
After WWI ended, many countries seeked to buy the FT17, including the Bolsheviks and later Soviets. At the start of WWII the FT17 was still in service in France and held up when the Blitzkrieg (lightning war) came. After the overruning and occupying of France (and the defeat at Dunkirk), the FT17 was pressed into German service as the Sd.kfz 17/18 R(f). In 1944, when the Allies were starting to take back most of Paris, the FT17 was used as the Wehrmacht had lost most of it's Panzers on other fronts and other units were impossible to transport back to liberated France due to Allied security. By this time the FT17 was so outdated that even one Sherman commander said that even one shell could disintegrate it.
In all, the Renault FT was used by Afghanistan, Belgium, Brazil, the Republic of China, Czechoslovakia, Estonia, Finland, France, Nazi Germany, Iran, Japan, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Philippine Commonwealth, Poland, Romania, the Russian White movement, the Soviet Union, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Norway, the United Kingdom, the United States and the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

I've been wanting to do this for while, because I have a soft spot for any WWI vehicle that was used extensively during WWII also.
Can fit one fig in the driver's seat and one in the turret. Also has engine hatch and removable engine. Thanks guys!

The tank in this picture is the VK 1602 Leopard Light Tank

The two support bars fold up into place while the 1x2 plate holding them is stowed on the back of the blast shield. The two bars attach to a 1x2 plate with bars which is attached to the tank with a BrickArms U-Clip.

US Navy WWII PT151 Torpedo Boat

PT 151 was one of the hundreds of motor torpedo boats (PT) of the PT 103 class completed between 1942 and 1945 by Elco Naval Division of Electric Boat Company at Bayonne, New Jersey. The Elco boats were the largest in size of the three types of PT boats built for U.S. use during World War II. Wooden-hulled, 80 feet long with a 20-foot, 8-inch beam, the Elco PT boats had three 12-cylinder Packard gasoline engines generating a total of 4,500 horsepower for a designed speed of 41 knots. With accommodations for 3 officers and 14 men, the crew varied from 12 to 14. Its full-load displacement was 56 tons. Early Elco boats had two 20mm guns, four .50-caliber machine guns, and two or four 21-inch torpedo tubes. Some of them carried depth charges or mine racks. Later boats mounted one 40mm gun and four torpedo launching racks. Many boats received ad-hoc refits at advanced bases, mounting such light guns as Army Air Forces 37mm aircraft guns and even Japanese 23mm guns. Some PTs later received rocket launchers. Originally conceived as antiship weapons, PTs were publicly, but erroneously, credited with sinking Japanese warships during the early months after Pearl Harbor. During the long Solomons campaign, they operated usefully at night and times of low visibility against Japanese barge traffic in the "Slot." Throughout World War II, PTs operated in the southern, western, and northern Pacific, as well as in the Mediterranean and the English Channel. Some served off Normandy during that invasion. Though their primary mission continued to be seen as attack of surface ships and craft, PTs were also used effectively to lay mines and smoke screens, to rescue downed aviators, and to carry out intelligence or raider operations. Almost all surviving Elco PTs were disposed of shortly after V-J Day. One Elco boat, PT 617, survives at Battleship Cove, Fall River, Massachusetts.

Has twin propellers for a maximum speed of just over 45 MPH, depth charge, torpedo, and two brick-built 50 caliber machine guns for anti-air defense. Haven't tested to see if it floats yet, but probably not.

Panzer VK1602(a) Leopard

This version of the 1602 is the three wheel version(a), introduced to conserve valuable raw materials.
More info: Since 1941, plans were made for the development of a new reconnaisance tank based on PzKpfw II Ausf J (VK 1601). In March of 1942, MIAG and Daimler-Benz received orders to build a fast (medium/heavy) reconnaisance tank, designed to operate under heavy combat conditions - Gefechtsaufklarung. MIAG was to construct the chassis, while Daimler-Benz was construct the turret. Both were to be designed and ready for production by October of 1942.The main purpose of this vehicle was to be at HQ tank platoons in Panzer units.
Its hull was similar to that of PzKpfw II Ausf J (VK 1601), but was largely influenced by PzKpfw V Panther, which was still being developed at the time. Its suspension was made up of interleaved road wheels similar to PzKpfw II Ausf L - Luchs. It was planned that Leopard would eventually replace lighter (leichter) PanzerSpahwagen II Ausf L Luchs - Sd.Kfz.123 (VK 1303).Mock-up was ready in May/June of 1942 and first prototype was to be finished by the September 1st of 1942. Full scale production was to start in April of 1943.

Finally done! Now my army has something to protect against naval attacks!
The Fairey Swordfish was a sumbarine killer biplane first put into production at the end of WWI. Too late to be used in WWII, it was mostly used as a patrol craft during the thirties(interwar. When WWII struck, due to lack of metal and other resources, they were pressed into service as naval killers. The most notable use of the Swordfish was it's use to immobilize the WWII German Naval Flagship vessel, the Bismarck. The Faireys managed to stop the Bismarck so that the Royal navy could destroy it with no resistance.

My Swordfish is the Naval Killer variant, armed with a droppable torpedo and anti aircraft 30 caliber machine gun. Fits two figs, pilot and gunner.
