The Office building at Hamilton Manufacturing was built in 1930. It is full of wood paneled offices, beautiful linoleum floor and these leaded windows with stained glass panels highlighting the origins of the factory. Sadly it will all likely be torn down so the factory can make as much money and leave unemployment and wreckage behind. The final auction of the office was Saturday and we got to wander around the building and see it one last time.

Jeff got some good shots of the offices. It would have been great to see it in its heyday.

The Wood Type Museum's days are few. Trucks have started taking items to the new home a few blocks south. At one time Hamilton was the largest employer in Manitowoc County. Now it's all gone. I think it is hard for many of the locals to see the end of an era. Many think manufacturing is the way to continue. Many see that as a thing of the past. I am hopeful the town will find it's way.

Over two weeks we have had this snow. Over a foot came down. Most of it still remains. She just couldn't help herself today. The sun is out and she had to venture past the path we shoveled.

Going through old photos and found Miss O in her racing gear. She got her GRC in two days of racing. She was like the wind.

Mr. Milo hated racing. They let him do a few races. But it requires they wear a muzzle and he hates the muzzle. So we didn't push him.

A surprise from Ohio arrived on the doorstep today. Imagine the squeal of delight when I opened the box to find four pints of the most amazing Ice Cream. A big hug and thanks to Renee for the treats. I went straight for The Buckeye State. Yum.
