I finally signed up to a new practitioner. I let my check-ups lapse after my old dentist retired, and I didn't take to her replacement. Still I'm proud I've made the first step. I just hate to think how much it's going to cost me.

I think my mum used to ask me that but sadly I've forgotten for sure. I have thank heaven not inherited her depressive illnesses but I can be melancholic in a less harmful way. but is this depth of feeling or blankness of thought here?

took some night shots but nothing startling. This crop from our brief elevator ride is the best I have. I'll need to fire up the Olympus and see if I can do better with that in the coming weeks.
