Blue Waters at Fishcombe

View from Fishcombe Cove across to Churston Cove around one and a half hours after Sunrise. The conditions calm and the waters were clear and blue, perfect. This is a long exposure of 30 sec at f/11 using Nikon D5000 and Sigma 10-20mm lens.

As part of Torquay's Super Weekend this Aston Martin DB9 was sat at Princess Gardens along with many other Super Cars, Bikes and Boats. Unfortunately the price tag was a bit too high for me. Still maybe one day when, sorry if I win the lottery. I hope you enjoy this HDR rendition of the car along with my reflection.

What appears to be a very bright Star rising over the cliffs at Bedruthan, but don't be fooled. It is in fact the Moon but during the editing of the image playing around with the highlights I got this effect. Strange don't you think. Anyway I hope you like it.

The Golden Hind at Brixham is a full sized replica of one of the most iconic ships from the age of exploration being a feature of this picturesque harbour since 1964 and has a long history of screen appearances in Film, Television drama, Documentary and even children's programs.

Sir Francis Drake : Soldier, Seaman, Politician and Engineer is best remembered as an explorer. In his most famous ship, The Golden Hind, he became the first Englishman to circumnavigate the globe in an epic expedition of plunder and discovery (1577-1580).

Pathway to the Church

This church was located in a small Polish village close to Slovakian border and I was drawn by the colour of the structure with alternate coloured stone. Stormy clouds were starting to build overhead so made good for this shot. I hope you like it.

Bedruthan Afterglow

Taken at Bedruthan Steps in Cornwall the Afterglow a few minutes as the Sun had set below the horizon. This is an HDR image produced with HDR Efex Pro so may not appeal to all but I feel this is not over done and brings out the colours and textures more.

Reflecting Sands

The outgoing tide at Bedruthan Steps provided a film of water on top of the sand to capture the reflections of the cliffs. I have added more contrast and structure to the image to bring out the details in the reflections, sand and cliff so I hope you like it.
