This is another new tiny bird and also not common here. Took only 3 pictures and he was off. never stopped jumping around in that maze of twigs.
This smallest woodpecker of Suriname gets its food from small branches and twigs, often hanging upside down.
Male has red patch on head.

Very "unsettled" little bird. made it very difficult for me chase him in thick shrubs.

The male is a good singer and so ends up in cages, a fate shared with other members of this family. He is very shy

Bird of prey is 50 to 65 cm (20 to 26 in) in length, with a wingspan of approximately 1.12–1.36 m (3.7–4.5 ft).
I have seen many of them but always just in flight.

...about to take off! Is a small active insectivorous songbird. The adult is 10–12 cm (4–5 in) long, and weighs 6–8 g (0.2-0.3 oz).
It was very difficult to catch him in twisted branches. I know it's very noisy, but until i get netter shot this will do for me :-). ...its new bird

Other common names include sharp-nosed bat, Brazilian long-nosed bat and river bat.
Bat is only 1.25-1.75 inches (3.5-4.5 cm) long, with a wingspan of just 4.75-6.25 inches (12-16 cm).
A small bat known to fly in the night skies.During the day, small groups of these nocturnal bats are often seen roosting head-down in a vertical line on the undersides of tree trunks leaning over the water.
I got in "personal touch" with one.
At the party, in restaurant near river one landed on my chest!!!
I was holding glass with wine....nearly hit him with it, but i just pushed him off. it was very, very soft. Maybe he wanted a hug??? :))))

Adults and juvenile.
More interesting info: A juvenile Scarlet Ibis is a mix of grey, brown, and white. As it grows, a heavy diet of red crustaceans produces the scarlet coloration.
The Scarlet Ibis is the only shorebird with red coloration in the world.

Opened in July 2011. Build in 275 work days.
Taken from place of old wooden bridge which doesn't exist any more.
