First night shoot in a while... Tonight's group: judyboy, and threshold, and myself. After meeting up at Coffee Exchange to confer, we struck out from there found a very muddy landscape before us. Tonight the moon also proved pretty elusive, and it ended up being overcast the whole night.

2 months of night photography in a row... this is a good thing. Tonight's group: judyboy, threshold, rizzolo, efatzo, and myself. We've started a ritual of meeting up at Coffee Exchange to pre-game, and striking out from there. Tonight the moon proved pretty elusive, and I considered myself lucky in getting this one in (one of my first of the night).

Wish I had the fisheye for this shot, to neutralize the street lamps!

Taken at about 10:30 pm, from the west side of the Point St. overpass. A Providence cop had just passed by me (gave me a quick look, but kept driving), as I was lining up this shot - tripod and all... from the sidewalk of course.

The Hess station across from SBI was a staging ground for a lot of DMV/Cardi people... there were a lot of police cruisers hanging out there too tonight.

It was an interesting evening - crisp and cold, nice moonlight, night over water, strangers visiting in the night, bets on who would cross the bridge (rltm401 won that self-bet), etc..

Revisiting a previous shoot location - cheers to threshold ,who couldn't be with us tonight but for dropping this suggestion. At the start of the night I was intrigued with this post - the tags, the lighting, etc. Lighting from the left via the moon, lighting in front via mercury vapor lighting from a grocery store located about 100 yards behind us, through the brush. More notes to follow...

One of my first shots of the night... it was pretty cold in this spot - I think the dynamics of the structures funneled a bit of the wind through this intersection. Lots of twists and turns here...
