Then we went to one friend's place nearby for a dinner party (with fondue and a chocolate fountain!), and after a couple hours went down to Minty's. Rock Band was winding down when we arrived, and we figured out how to play a pictionary-type game with the ipad, and then broke out the old-school Trivial Pursuit. The entire group of tenplus played as a 'team' and we did a very good job. :) <br /> <br /> There were some snacks and champagne, and toasts and cheers and kisses at midnight. We stayed there til past 2 and felt lucky to grab a cab to get home quickly. <br /> <br /> Happy New Year! I successfully completed my Year in Pictures for 2010 with not a day missed. There weren't as many stand-out photos as I'd've liked, but there are a few that I'm definitely proud of. I still like the documentation aspect of the project, and occasional splashes of creativity thrown in too. I definitely still took a lot of self-portraits after my third 365 was done in March, but it was such a relief to have that as a choice instead of a mandate (as much as a voluntary project can really mandate). <br /> <br /> I will continue into 2011 with another YIP!
