Not mine... but I always have fun looking at the budgies when I go in. I miss my Peekaboo. Charity (our older cat) did awesome with her - never once tried to eat her. ;) Our used-to-be feral kittens would probably make a quick meal out of one though. :(

Iguanas are fascinating. One of my best friends growing up had one, though I moved away before getting to meet it. He used to let it run around his house, and I heard it got to about 5 feet long before it passed away. My son has a book, "I wanna Iguana" that my parents bought him (and even had it signed by the author.) Someday, I'd like to get a few lizards... an Iguana, a Chinese bearded dragon, and an anole for starters. ;)

We don't get the huge sunflowers out here, like they do in Kansas; at least not that I've seen. But these little ones are a bright and cheery sight along the road, nevertheless. :)

Last year, my husband's undercutter gang was working out in Bighorn, so we went out there to watch them work. It's absolutely gorgeous out there. I am so envious of the sights he sees while out working... most of which you can't get to any other way than on the rails. *sigh*

This deer was down below our window the first morning we were in Ocean Shores. There were two, actually, but the other was in the bushes a little ways away. We see deer here a lot, but it's always fun to see wildlife in their natural environment. :)

I know there are millions upon millions of photos of peacocks out there. It doesn't stop me from trying to get a good shot of one when I have the chance. ;)

This guy was at the zoo, just wandering around. There are actually several peacocks and peahens around; this guy had just finished strutting his stuff and came over to see what the kids and I were doing. It was amazing how close he came; I guess he hasn't had a lot of being chased like I saw happening last year.

I was going through my archives and found an entire folder of images from when we moved here to Montana that I never finished editing. I hate when I do that!

This feather was a duck feather my eldest daughter found near the hotel we were staying at soon after we arrived. She loves collecting things, but I wasn't too hot on her carrying around a duck feather with all the rest of our stuff (it was a lot of stuff) so I took a photo of it for her to remember it by. :)
