This is a portrait of our carpenter’s apprentice in Varanasi (Benaras) who makes our booths and most of the furnitures of the Red Halo shops and corners.
This young man has gold in his fingers.
He is always smiling and brings out happiness so I can’t blame him for working so early in front of my bedroom windows...;)

Those men are ship carpenters working all day along the Ganges in Varanasi (Benaras).

Optical Inaccuracy

This was shot in a street of Bhagwanpur near BHU in Varanasi (Benaras).
Those men are carpenters, they were resting under the shade of a tree next to several tables ready to be delivered.

This is a picture of Anand's brother who is a ship carpenter along the Ganges in Varanasi (Benaras).
Like his father his work is to fabricate, assemble, install and repair wooden boats which will never leave the shores of the Eternal city.
