I have really been living up to being kim-by-the-sea. With last week's clouds, especially, I couldn't get enough of it. Today we are cloud free and it is ridiculously hot! Too bad I have no air conditioning!

I used a Kim Klassen texture here called magic film. I love the additional contrast black and white textures add.

From a client session a few weeks back. It's not easy photographing a one-year old...getting her to look at me (and in this case we had a language barrier, as they had come from Mexico), or getting her to be still for just a moment; but the fast shutter speed saved me!

I had always wanted to create a levitation shot and pictured it with a piano like this. I had the opportunity to attend a Brooke Shaden workshop in L.A., where I shot this and had the time of my life! This was taken in the chapel...the only room in the abandoned Linda Vista Hospital that wasn't in complete decay.

Another from Savannah at the Wormsloe Plantation.

Standing in front of it, the Spanish moss was SO beautiful, but somehow photographed as dark and creepy. I hope the beauty of it comes through in my images.
