I posted this scene (with a different composition and different processing) just over a month ago. I'm not quite sure which one I like better....I like how this one shows a lot more of the dramatic sky, but I think it loses the appeal of the foreground that's present in the other shot. Hard to choose!

This image has had nothing but curves adjustments in PS but has come out with quite a surreal painterly effect. I like it.

A view from Castle Hill Peak into the Castle Hill Basin. State Highway 73 emerges from the left of frame, and the Porter River comes out of the centre.

These sheep live right on the south coast of the South Island, and as such are a hardy bunch.
