the way I see it - Mexico days.

I think it would be good for each and every one of us that are blessed with the luck of being physically healthy to step aside from our self when we are wining about had badly the world treat us and have a look around in the world and how it treats others. Some not as fortunate as us go about their life with out any complain and do their daily task that seem so complicated to us that if asked we probably would give up with out really trying. There are thousands of people around the globe that conquer the day by just getting out of bed. nest time you are having the blues maybe you should think of them and realize how blessed you really are.

In April 2007 I had driven Benzi the expedition truck down Baja California and we where stationed at the beach of Los Frailies. There I tried to get the hang of the fairly new program called Lightroom which I had downloaded in USA and was promising software and raw converter.
Even though my main concern then was to get the hang of META DATA and the keywording system of Lightroom I did a few tests on black and white conversion and was ok with the result then as it looked on the screen of my laptop.
The bit that was nagging me though was the fear that I would not be able to print the image because of the crashing effect my development method in Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. The method brought all the worst out of the file with banding in colors and noise from hell along with some artifacts.
Now that we are in version 3.0 of Lightroom and my skills with it have grown life is a bit different so I have lately revisited some of my old files. A bit of the development methods had been prepared for Kodak DCS Pro that I had and was a much softer cell and file version than the Canon that I use to day. Thus I needed more twisting and turning to get the contrast and feel I wanted.
This time I get the contrast but at the same time better tonal scale and colors closer to what I was originally looking for. This with out crashing the file and making it unprintable. I cant but be happy with the result.
The image is fully developed in Lightroom with only minor touch up in Adobe photoshop.
