I could see this photograph in its makings on the way to Scrabster, I just managed to get four frames before the light went, so not the composition I would have planed, of the right lens on the camera, but light like this has to be captured when seen.

Despite early rumbles about the pontoons the uptake has been almost universal by the smaller creel boats, giving an interesting "stacked" composition.

Shadows and Highlights Tamed

I am so impressed with this generation of Nikons, the ability to hold highlights and shadows is dramatically better than the D3 was and make the camera a joy to use in agressive lighting conditions like this.
