Thought I'd post this with a link to the Bayou City in the shipyard. It's always tough to get a sense of scale. In this photo by Steve Nelson look at the people, truck and equipment beside the pilot boat and then look at the Bayou City next to the ship.

Panorama of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. Taken from the Castillo San Felipe. From left to right: Manga in the foreground, Castillo Grande and Boca Grande in the background, the walled city starting with Getsemani, then Centro, then San Diego on the right. The large buildings in the near center of the old city were a huge mistake, in my opinion, but the colonial parts of the city wrap nicely around them and mostly obscure them in narrow ancient streets. There are now laws preserving the colonial architecture of the old city.
