A quick shot looking along the city walls of York, which can be traced back as far as the Roman period, with the majority of the stonework dating to the Medieval period.

For those who are more interested in country homes than fast jets, back to Cornwall.

I still have photos from a heap more locations from my recent Cornwall trip, this is Lanhydrock House, near Bodmin.

I find it interesting how many small hidey-holes and concealed entrances some of these country estates have and Lanhydrock is particularly extensive, including such gems as a cold room in the house that kept a special table cold enough to make jellies and ice creams.

The courtyard at Lytes Cary again, this time with the sun out! Even without the sun, the courtyard was the warmest location in the whole property; a lovely place to sit and contemplate.

Taken on the long cut (the opposite of a short cut) back from Kimmeridge to Tyneham. The view is back towards Tyneham and on to Lulworth.

Through luck, more than anything else, I had just about the best possible week of weather off work.

I took one long lunchbreak from driving lessons and cataloguing photos to do a little bit of street photography with my 85mm f1.8 on the beach. Not as productive as I hoped, I'm still particularly pleased with this one.
