Hahaha! This is definitely the most enjoyable build I’ve had in a while! Although, I must say—I did expect it to be far more challenging then it turned out to be! I utilized shields as a way to balance more and more figures, as well as having various figures just hanging on for dear life! I also greatly focused on the first figure since he would be holding up everything, and I gave him a shield and a flag pole on his back to attach more peoples. The horse was something I thought to put in about halfway through the build, and I was surprised to see I was able to balance him—in fact, the horse is actually the only part of the build not attached stud wise to any other part—so he’s basically a free floating structure. So, in the end, I’m very happy with my entry, and my new found balancing skills!

The Siccus Badlands; while the southernmost guild is mostly a desert, it admittedly is more hospitable, and greatly more prosperous, than the horrendous conditions that plague the eastern guild; the home of the “Black” Falcons.

It is here we find two lone Falcons, who cast out for their crest’s deeds 100 years ago, are now forced to sneak into trade hubs in disguise. They are on a quest from their lord, Fendrel Falco, to smuggle back food that the overworked laborers now demand. They are not alone however, for suspicious eyes watch them from a distance…

Pick-Brick Swag!

I’ll…I’ll sort that out…later…

Oh great day for Pick-a-Brick. I snagged tons of purple 2x3 plates and trans-purple cones, as well as a good amount of brown 1x4 which I need more of, and of course more 2x2 dark tan tiles—which I never have enough of. (I still have nightmares about when I almost ran out making a batman creation!) I also grabbed a ton of green plates and plants, as well as white flowers—which inspired me to come up with a selection of builds I’ll soon start.

Very good Lego day! Grabbed Smallville attack set and Adventure Time Season 2 DVD from Target with some gift cards; and I went to the Lego store and snagged a Pick-a-Brick, Gold Minifigure Keychain, and the smallest of the new LotR sets.

Very happy with the Superman set; and I’m really excited with what I can build now—I’ve been wanting a gold minifigure keychain for years! I’ll be working on a review of the LotR set for Eurobricks today, and hopefully that will be up soon (Though it has to go through the review academy—hence the unknown time). Following that, I’ll unveiled my next micro LotR piece—Barad Dur!

Meanwhile in the Legion of Doom’s Trophy Room…nothing is happening. They’re closed on Sundays.

I’ve been meaning to make this one for a long time, and finally, it’s been created. I needed more specific bricks then I have on hand in my dorm, but with it now being summer, I had the pieces necessary to make this baby! Oh do I love all the little details and especially all the reverences in here!

A large (And might I add a bit top heavy) royal carriage created for a raid build I was making; until I discarded it. The story line continues on however, as it is the Men of Lion whose gold was taken by the Falcons into Port Wrath and so on.

A photo I made to use as my main banner on my Photostream page. I like the idea of a photo banner like that, though I have the justified pictures bellow it. Hopefully this looks good, since I can’t actually see my main photostream page since it’s just coming out as messed up html look (You know white page, with all the words and links to the left with no pictures). And luckily, thanks to the good old classic Flickr uploadr I was able to upload this picture, since the new one was not working whatsoever. God, Flickr…what happened to you.

This is the new Flickr I see. At least when I click the Flickr homepage button at the top left. Yeah, hard to look at. Yes, this is my entire screen that it takes up. On a related notes, I’ve cancelled my Pro, since I won’t give Flickr any more money, and I’ll most likely be shifting entirely over to Eurobricks, while hosting my pictures on my Brickshelf or MocPages. I’ll still keep my account here to check up on people, but it’s unlikely I’ll be uploading on this mess. Unrelated note, thank you TTPES for your many recent favorites.

Under orders from their Lord, three Falcons traveled with the newfound gold north, to the dangerous harbor of the East; Port Wrath.

My first truly “Nocturnus Style” Build. Mostly so far, I’ve been building for my Falcon’s past, and not their present, so they have not settled in Nocturnus completely, but I’m a getting there!
