Kane's is a bit of an institution in Calgary selling Harleys in Inglewood for many many years. This image was not taken at the front of the store:-)

Poured with rain yesterday and blue sky with wind followed so thought I would take some primary colour images in the garden. Tried to capture the bees but they were working hard. Dozy bees napping are much easier :0)

This province is all about oil and canola and cattle. (and really nice people) And interesting photography:-) Calgary is a major head office city second only to Toronto in the East so very highly educated populatation that gets to enjoy the landscape ...

Not too far from Calgary there are a number of abandoned farmsteads. Such a great blue sky day to play in the country and I think this old barn has serious personality!!

A loosing battle keeping a couple of these tree rats out of the bird feeders. When the peanuts are all gone from the tray this is their next trick. This one is a Mama with babies somewhere. Created a new baffle today so we will see how that works. Sadly when they are there the birds do not come and these guys look like squirrels but they are really little piggies!!!! :O))

Blue Jay in the garden at the feeder. We have not had many this past couple of years but now a family of four. The young ones did know know how to eat a peanut so fun to watch them learn. They are very loud a 5am yelling for more food or maybe telling everyone there is plenty of food. Have never figured it all out. Recently there was one that mimicked a hawk and have heard them sound like a cat.

Our daughter loved Winnie the Poo as a small child and our first cat was 'Tigger' even though he was a black and white kitty. This big guy is at the Calgary Zoo is the Dad of three new babies that are about to make their debut.
