Story Of The Image : Yesterday early in the morning I looked out of my window and saw that there was alot of fog arround. So I packed up my stuff and hurried up to catch it out in the fields and in the wood. As I shot 1 h the light began to burst throught the leafs and I had "30 min of grace"to shoot it in different locations. This one is from my last opportunity and as you can see, the person inside is me (and not a Photoshop Composing). I decided to include myself into the image to give it a deeper meaning. So I had to press the timer (10s) and run ;)

So I think that I could have bee standing more looking directly into the light - but well, you can't have everything ;)

Processing : This is cropped a little bit on the top. A second exposure is used to darken the top with a little darke gradient. Colors are original (as shot).

Personal Message : I am back from being 12 days in Austria and Italy with my lovely wife. We had a really good time relaxing and I was shooting the landscapes. This is the first one I want to present to you - any comment and critique is highly appreciated !

For Technical Information : Canon EOS 350D; Raw; 1/1250s; f/5.6, ISO 400, 205mm

Processing : Correcting some strange shadows in the foreground and removed powerlines in the backround. Overall leveladjustments. Colors aren't edited.

Processing : Converted to b/w. Mulitplied the original layer a dozen times, dodgin + burning... Rethought - waited and re-edited.. Time : 45 min

Story Of The Image : Made this one on a trip to "Dobel" - my special and favourite place with that one old house standing in the field. Had a great time there... Tried many different angles and stuff.

Story Of The Image Last weekend I was out with my close buddy Mace2000. Had a great time talking about photography and personal stuff. We shot alot against the sun - this one was through grass (here comes the blur in) and shot again with my backup 350D.

Story Of The Image : So today I was on a shooting trip with the son of the wifes sister, called David. Most of you know him for other shots in my stream. We took a walk to different places near my home and this one of those shots where he really is himself. I didn't wanted to look him like a nice, cheesy child cause that's not him. Well, this young man is awesome and to me, he's a hero. Really.

One of my readers over at kwerfeldein.de said that he instantly thought that the aerostat driver here must have some trust in God as he is in the middle of this weather.

Story Of The Image : I recently had a shooting with Dotdean and his girlfriend - we where out in the woods and fields arround my hometown. At this time I thought : I would like to see him floating in the air. So we did it. Kinda difficult in the wood, but doable. This one made a lot of fun and another one will follow next days. Check it out in BIG.

Processing : Selective Leveladjustment, Colortreatment (added blue), Dodging / Burning / No Photomanipulation. What you see is real. Time : 35 min
