&lt;p&gt;Despite the fact that this is only a &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.aba.org/checklist/codes.html&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Code 2&lt;/a&gt; species (uncommon) of North America, this RED BILLED PIGEON is not easy to photograph anywhere because of its very shy nature. Also, he blends in really well with its surroundings and he 's usually gone before you even saw him.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After many failed attempts to approach him in the past, here I got lucky one morning when he simply flew by me....(smile).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
