Heheh. I made myself a 241 to take to Quilt Market so I wouldn't have to fiddle with my purse the whole time. I made the strap super long so the bag would be down at my thighs, but it just didn't look right. So I shorten it, and have an ugly tab hanging into the bag there on the left. Now I think its too short. So I may unpick that and adjust it before I leave next week.

So partner...I hope that big pile of fabric I posted earlier all makes sense now. I hope you like this...if you don't, just say so, I'd be happy to keep it for myself!!

For never making a bag before I was pretty hesitant to try the 241 Tote Pattern from noodle-head.com, but I like the finished product so much I would definitely make one again. This one does have some mistakes, but none that are completely noticeable. And I chalk it up to being handmade.

So be honest partner, you won't hurt my feelings! Yes or no? I can always go back to idea number 1 (that's right, this is idea #2)!

I pulled all these fabrics from my stash/scraps last night. I have yet to go through and edit them pull. I know for sure that darker more vibrant blue is a gonner.

I love that when I was flipping through this magazine I bought tonight, I was surprised to see my niece and nephew in a full page ad for Snuggle Fabrics! My sister is a photographer and has recently been doing freelance work for them. I love seeing these kids in books/magazines!!

The dilemma is my sister doesn't quilt, and once she sends the pictures out, she never sees them again. That is, until I recently started finding pics of the kids popping up on fabric store website and in magazines! But I rarely buy magazines, and want to keep mine for quilting purposes.

If ANYONE comes across this ad and can spare it (currently I know it's in this months Quilts and More but it has instructions on the back for a pattern, and the other is in this months American Patchwork and Quilting and has alternate designs or quilting ideas on the back), would you mind sending it to me?

I'd like to collect a few (without having to purchase the entire magazine) to send to proud grandparents!! Thanks a ton in advance! Just FM if you have one to spare!!
