Redwood Bridge (from raw); A Wedding Day post in honor of my Lovely Bride!

Lady Bird Johnson Grove Bridge in Redwoods National Park after processing the RAW version. The main changes were eliminating the burned grafiti, and making a slight crop as suggested by Oliver Lavery. At the end of the day it was more about preserving the original than improving it. (105)

Best Large On Black. Featured on the Expore Front Page June 23, 2006 (our wedding day) and in the Nikon Stunning Gallery in early August.

-Added to the Cream of the Crop pool as most favorited (replacing this image).

Redwood Bridge

We are currently on vacation in central California, but I wanted to upload at least one image from out visit to the Redwoods on Friday. What an amazing part of our world. This is an untouched JPEG of the bridge leading from the Lady Bird Johnson Grove. I think this one will end up on my wall once I have a chance to work with the RAW capture but I wanted to get it up now...

Update (June 23, 2006): Today I have posted the Raw Version as a tribute to my Lovely Bride on our Wedding Day.

Golden Gate Sunset

Much better large! This is my favorite sunset image from our trip to San Francisco. The tall ship was coming into port for some sort of celebration, when it got into the center of the bay it fired it's cannons!
Untouched 2004 Sony P100 JPEG with exception of very minor levels adjustment.

A walk on the Golden Gate Bridge brought the opportunity for this shot. I like trying to find unusual views of frequently photographed subjects. Among my favorites from a trip that afforded some of my better shots from the Sony cybershots before my dSLR. Untouched JPEG.
