In beautiful Lynn Canyon Park in Vancouver, BC. This is about 100 feet away from Twin Falls (of which I took no good photos), and the water is so perfectly clear it's hard to believe. Most of the foreground is underwater. Check out the water line on that rock in the foreground. Canada's water is so clean! A young man used this pristine location to serenade a young woman with his guitar. Because of the wide angle lens they thought they weren't in my frame!

Somehow Cummins Falls is hard to capture in its majesty. Most pictures I see of it make it look much smaller than it really is, and I couldn't do much better. Ah, well, still a gorgeous falls!

I've never seen anything like this before. Icy waterfall giant! Snow and ice already excites this California boy, and this frozen ampetheater at Multnomah Falls took it to another level.

I'm still getting the hang of this new wide angle lens. Probably not the best choice for this limitted lookout view, but Cummin's Falls is beautiful enough to make any picture look nice.

Atop Cummins Falls

Cummins Falls State Park is Tennessee's newest state park, so I got to check it out. The trails are still largely under construction and I wasn't prepared to ford the river and the get closeups at the base, so my vantage points were limited. But climbing along the limestone cliff where it makes its 75-foot drop sure was fun, and that's where I found this cascade like the feather in the cap. Here I got to try out my new Tokina 12-24 mm lens! What fun! But not for too long because I've been holed up with the flu and tonsillitis ever since returning from this shoot.
